Adriana Schaff

Adriana Schaff is our local “Queen of Jewelry”, based in Cortlandt Manor, NY. After arriving from Italy to New York with her new husband, she was at a loss for something to do. Adriana then discovered the flea market, filled with magnificent jewelry and her inspiration was forever sparked! Her talent lies in her flair for purchasing rare finds, repairing older pieces with her own signature touch, and selling one-of-a-kind pieces that create a conversation within a look. Adriana describes her taste as “unusual”, which is true in the best way! The unusualness lies in her unbelievable eye in finding the strangest and most interesting pieces that you could not find anywhere else. All sourced second hand from estate sales, antique malls, and flea markets. Adriana has experience like no other, having been sourcing and repairing jewelry now for 40 years. Adriana finds so much joy in her trade, “it brings me great pleasure watching someone transform before my eyes… [and] they[‘re] eyes light up… when they try on one of my items.” You can find Adriana volunteering at the IFCA Thrift Store here in Ossining, as well as volunteering at Melitas's Village Nest.
